Are you a carer?
Devon County Council's Health & Adults' Services Scrutiny Committee has set up a new task group to investigate the range of support adult carers receive in Devon. The task group will also examine how these services can be improved and will focus on the following areas:
respite care
financial help
cooperation with health professionals, including the role of GPs
the County Council's Care Direct service
assessment processes and paperwork
duplication and overlap of services and organisations
