New Dance Group for disabled people - Isca Wheelchair Dancers
A group of disabled people decided to set up their own dance group in Exeter after attending a taster session put on by the Beacon Wheelchair Dancers (based in South Devon) last November.
After many months of preparation they are now in a position to invite disabled people to come along and have a go. With kind permission the dance sessions are being held at the premises of Living Options and taken by Dance Instructor, Amy Forte.
The dance group is open to all disabled people (wheelchair and non wheelchair users) and welcomes carers, family and friends. Classes start running from Tuesday 13th July (evenings) between 7.00-9.00pm at Living Options Devon, Isca House, Haven Road, Exeter, EX2 8DS. There is plenty of free parking available. Anyone attending their first class does so for free as this is being offered as a "free" taster session.
The Isca Wheelchair Dancers offer disabled people the opportunity to make new friends and participate in leisure activities. If you are interested in learning to wheelchair dance please come along or if you wish to find out more first then please contact our Secretary, Kathy Gibson on 01884 32087; or email us at iscawheelchairdancers@gmail.com
