Community Engagement
A Local Involvement Network will only be successful if we hear from the community in Devon about their health and social care services. This is why here at LINk Devon we have a team of Community Engagement Workers based in various areas across Devon. Our work is very much face-to-face; we visit groups on a regular basis to hear what people have to say - you are the ‘experts' in your health and care.
We also hold regular ‘Altogether Healthier' Community Health Fairs where people can come and join the LINk and also get lots of information about health and care initiatives in their local area. Check the Whats On Page for details
The views we gather from you are logged and themed and then forwarded to the commissioners and providers of services. Your views also help LINk Devon to establish a work plan of ‘hot topics' which are then taken up by the LINk Task Groups.
